Ok, heres the rundown. I've been trapped on this damned desktop pc for the past two and a half weeks. My laptop's harddrive burnt out and had to be replaced. So we took it to Geek Squad which meant I was gonna get my laptop all fixed and new. WRONG! Sure the harddrive got replaced and the fan got cleaned out but oh wait, heres the hitch, they didn't know where my recovery disk was. It was with them to shorten this story. They didn't log it in their computers or on paperwork that they did have it. So when i went to pick it up today they couldnt find the disk. I opened the cd drive in my laptop and low and behold! there is was. The dude had passed me off on a manager and then she passed me back to him and the process went back and forth for a good two hours. Hours i should have been enjoying the mall and strip shops that was our original plan for me and my friends.
FINALLY a different guy came up and said it was the wrong kind of recovery disk! took him 3 minutes to the others' hours to tell me. I was pissed to hell and still am cause now, my fam has to order the correct operating system disk and Geek Squad isn't even letting my warranty cover it! I HATE THEM!!! They are giving geeks and nerds a horrible rep!! They do not make for happeh kitteh!!! So now, the Squad has my laptop STILL and we have to wait for my mom to order a new disk. at this rate they couldv'e just given me a new laptop and said "have a blast, sorry for the inconvience" but oh no! they have to be complete dueschebags and make my rents pay for the operating disk. IM NOT HAPPEH! I want my laptop and off this damned outdated desktop pc! I want competence from people who are supposed to be wizards at tech gear!!! GEEK SQUAD = EPIC FAIL!!!!
They say the op system is cheap, but is or not it, they shouldve gave me the correct disk when my parents bought the danged thing! They shouldnt have listed the disk as not in their possesion! They need to show that they are geeks and not posers! They aint geeks, they are just people who claim to be smarter than what they are. I even have more tech knowledge than them! I opened up my dang disk drive and found the disk!!!! Plus they have REALLY REALLY bad customer service. they all told me the same info over and over and over. they expect me to show them respect? then they need to show some for me in the first place!!!
